FAQ

Who did you get influenced by to run for President of the USA?
First of all, George Bush needs to get out of office. Second of all, we need a President that keeps his promises. Yeah, that's me. Basically, Bush influenced me to become President, but in an odd way.

What would be your first step in making America a better nation?
The first thing I would do is withdraw the troops from Iraq. I understand that our intentions were to help them. We helped a little, but also interfered with their war, and ended up with thousands of innocent people killed.

How would you feel if you actually won the election?
I would obviously be proud of myself (who wouldn't?) but I would also immediately get to work.

Exactly what do you mean by "work"?
Making America the best nation it could be.

How would you feel if you lost this campaign?
That's a harsh question. To tell you the truth, I would be saddened, because I have planned so many goals to make America a better place. If I lost the campaign, the elected President must be able to do a better job than i intended to do in order for myself to be satisfied. America just needs a better President, which is why I am running.

Do you think George Walker Bush, IF he were allowed to run again, still deserves to be President?
Thnk about what he did to our nation. Then tell me what YOU think.

Being a President is a very important job. An entire nation would rest in your hands if you win the election. How do you feel about that? Any stress, any pressure?
I have to admit, the pressure is extremely intense. I also do stress on many nights, but I manage to control it at the limit. I am well aware that being a President is very important, and it is just that which makes me have the ambition to run for it. I have always loved feeling important, ever since i was a kid. I would beg my mom to clean the house or wash the dishes, and in sports I would strive to make that last touchdown or that long 3 pointer in the last few seconds of a basketball game. When I am President, it's as if everyone relys on me. It makes me slightly nervous, but gives me more motivation to make Americans be proud of where they live.

How do you feel, switching from being a comedian to running for President?
It may seem to almost everyone a weird change of jobs, but, to tell you the truth, I have always wanted to be President. I strongly believe that I have the ability and mind to become a great President, which is why I am running.

Dave Chappelle, word has spread that you are a Muslim. Is this true?
Yes, it certainly is

May I ask you, how do you deal with those that criticize you because of this?
Well, I deal with criticism is part of a celebrities everyday life, so I must say I am used to it. Why people criticize me about this, I have no idea, but it is not a big deal.

Dave, you are one of the most successful comedians who ever lived. Do you think you will be the best president who ever lived?
That is my goal: to be the first African American president for the USA and be the best of them all. I wouldn't spend most of my time comparing myself, but more of trying to improve whatever it is needed to be improved for the nation.

We are in need of a much better President? Sorry if this is harsh, but do you think you can be better than Bush?
Bush did his best. But he didn't do his best WELL ENOUGH. I will clean up all his mistakes and make better choices and decisions.

Rapper Kanye West had said that "Bush doesn't care about black people." Do you agree with this?
Well personally, I think it is too straight forward, but it is partially true. I get what Kanye is trying to point at. He was thinking that all Bush wanted was the oil and did not consider the starving kids in Africa or the dying soldiers in Iraq. I would say that Bush just needs to think more straight. I honestly do not think George Bush is a racist, but he just needs to be more thoughtful of others rather than his own benefits.

What would you like your son to be when he grows up?
I just want him to have a job that he would enjoy forever. Seriously, I don't want to force my kid to do a specific job. It is whatever he gains interest in. He seems interested in comedy and music, and I have no problem supporting him on that.

Your wife is very proud of you for running in this campaign. How do you feel about that?
I am very pleased to hear that, sir. I love my wife, and I would do anything to make her feel proud of herself, me, or my son. I am glad that she has been supporting me through all the stress of this campaign, and I will try to find any way to make up for her effort.

How do you feel about candidate supporters who oppose you?
Well I try my best to bring everyone on my side, but as you probably know, it is impossible for EVERYONE to like you. There is always some people out there how would dislike or even hate you, and go against you for a good reason or for no reason at all. I have no grudge against them, but I must say that I want to give love to everyone who is supporting me right now.

Would you cry if you lost this campaign?
That, I can not answer.

And why is that?
Because you will only see what would happen when I win.

What gives you such confidence that you would win this election?
It is not winning that is my most important goal. It's doing the best I can to prove that I am worthy of being President. My confidence comes from my brain, a brain that naturally knows what it's doing.

If another candidate won the election and he does a bad job of being a President, what would your reactions be?
Honestly, I would be furious. A man who wins the election must prove to be worthy of it by doing his/her job. It is not just win and then relax, but win and work harder.

Dave, you had made a video making fun of Bush. Is that how you really feel about him?
It is partially how I feel, but most of it is just for entertainment, based on the opnions and criticizms of the citizens and the media.

Mr. Chappelle, do you believe we should send more troops to Iraq or withdraw them?
I would pull them out. There is no need to interfere with a war which has already started without us. We will not help, but just make the situation worsen.

After this four year term, do you think you would want to run again?
I am not guaranteed so, for that is still a long way off. However, if I feel that America really needs me again, I would certainly do so.

How do you feel about the voting machines in Texas?
I do not suggest them, because the results are not accurate. It has been a big issue, so I think staying with normal voting would be better.
